Visualising

Method
The method of visualising these offshore wind turbines consists of placing them in a photograph of a specific location. These visualisations are intended to create a tangible picture of the offshore wind farm at Horns Rev, partially as an appendix to the EIA report and subsequent project planning phases in the farm project, but also as information for any interested parties.
We have emphasised the visualising of the wind farm from populated coastal areas and from places where people flock seasonally. In addition, we have chosen days with good visibility to execute these visualisations so as to illustrate the wind farm in situations in which it would be highly visible.

Vejers Strand
Vejers Strand lies 22 km from the centre of the farm, and at this range approx. 15 meters of each turbine will, when viewed from the beach, have disappeared beneath the horizon because of the Earth’s curvature.
