At its closest, the ferry to England will sail at a distance of
approx. 22 km from the wind farm, and at this range, approx. 12
meters of each turbine will, when seen from the upper deck of the
ferry, have disappeared beneath the horizon because of the Earth’s
curvature.

Slugen
Slugen is the channel which bisects Horns Rev. Among other
things, Slugen is utilised by fishing vessels to sail to and from
Esbjerg Harbour, thus this visualisation. All of the turbines are
visible from this distance.
