New operator of Horns Rev wind farm

On
1 July 2006 Swedish Vattenfall obtained 60 % ownership of the Horns
Rev offshore wind farm and took over full responsibility for the
operation of the wind farm. As before, operation and maintenance will
be managed by the staff (Wind Service) in Esbjerg who were transferred
to Vattenfall in connection with the demerger of Elsam. The remaining
part of Elsam merged with DONG in the same operation and therefore 40
% of the wind farm is now owned by DONG Energy. |
